| Regular meetings | Priory Meetings are held at the Naval, Military and Air Force Club, Hutt Street Adelaide at 12 noon on the third Monday of the month. The meeting starts with a short business session; then a member presents a 20 minute talk of his or her choice. A light lunch follows at 1 pm. Partners of Chevaliers and Dames are invited to attend some meetings |
| Priory Cinema afternoon | A fund-raising afternoon is held if a suitable movie becomes available. This is followed by light finger food and drinks. |
| Investiture | A major event each year is the Investiture of new Knights and Dames, held on a Saturday in June close to the Feast of Saint John the Baptist, the patron saint of the Order. Services are at Christ Church, Jeffcott Street North Adelaide, the Conventual Church of the Priory. |
| Investiture Banquet | A celebratory banquet is held after each Investiture ceremony. |
| Chapter Meeting | The Chapter Meeting of the Priory is held on the Saturday morning before the Investiture. In effect, this is the Annual General Meeting of the Priory. |
| Siege of Malta Function | In 1565 the Ottoman Empire laid siege to the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem on the island of Malta. After months of conflict the Turks were defeated. A lunch or cocktail evening celebrates the lifting of siege of Malta that occurred on September 8, 1565. |
| Christmas Dinner | The activities of the year conclude with a Christmas dinner. |

Important Notice about Lunches
Please check regularly for latest notices of meetings and events.
The Naval and Military Club will penalise the Priory if we provide incorrect estimates of attendance.
MEMBERS ONLY LUNCH, consisting of Vili’s pies and pasties, sandwiches with cake, tea and coffee will cost $25 per person; this is unchanged. We thank Chevalier Vili Milisits for his generosity.
LUNCH with MEMBERS and PARTNERS consisting of a hot meal followed by dessert, tea and coffee will cost $35 per person; this is unchanged. As an alternative dessert, fresh fruit will be available this year on a “pre-order basis”.
There is a PENALTY of $25 per person if the numbers estimate is incorrect, and this will be passed on to those members who have not notified the Secretary of any change of their attendance.
The list of Priory members who are classified as “Lunch Regular” or “Non Regular” was an attachment on the email circular on this subject that was sent on 21st January 2015. However please contact me if you are uncertain about your status.
Members who attend REGULARLY must advise me by 6 pm on the Thursday before the meeting if they are NOT ATTENDING.
Members who are classified as NON REGULAR must advise me if they are ATTENDING and require lunch, by 6 pm on the Thursday before the meeting. You will be made very welcome.
There are some members who attend the Priory Meeting regularly but do not require lunch; we welcome these members.
